My new writing project for 2013

Hello to all my faithful followers, and a very happy new year to you all. I wanted to let you all know about a new writing project I’ve started on this year. It’s called “The 365 Project – a photo diary in words”.

Some of you may have heard of the 365 Project. It started out as a photography project. Take a photo of something each day for one year and put them all together in an online album. A friend of mine told me that someone she knew had done the project in 2012 and how incredible it was to watch the full slide show of her images. This got me thinking.

What if I did the same thing, but with words? Choose something I’ve seen each day and write a short portrait of it on a blog, hopefully amassing 365 little word-pictures in a year. So I decided to do it. I’ve started a new blog on WordPress, where you can read my first two submissions (for 1st and 2nd Jan 2013).

I do hope you will all take a look and perhaps follow me there too. Let me know what you think too – I’m always happy to hear from readers.
